InmateGPT Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy

InmateGPT.com (the "Service") is operated by Cyrellia LLC ("Cyrellia," "we," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, the user ("User," "you," or "your") agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Service Availability and Warranties
The Service is an AI-assisted research, information, and messaging system provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Cyrellia makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of availability, uptime, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Service is offered solely based on the availability of third-party providers, messaging platforms, and the policies and allowances of correctional facilities. Cyrellia makes no guarantee that any message, response, or content will be delivered, received, or approved by any institution. The Service operates on a best-effort basis only.
Legal Compliance
Users must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as all rules, regulations, and policies of the Bureau of Prisons or any other federal, state, local, or private correctional facility. The Service may not be used in any manner that violates institutional rules, attempts to evade or circumvent monitoring or screening, or misrepresents the nature or purpose of communications. Any restriction, suspension, or loss of access imposed by a correctional facility is solely the responsibility of the User.
Prohibited Use - Prison Politics
The Service may not be used for any illegal or unlawful purpose. The Service may not be used for "prison politics" under any circumstances. Prison politics includes, but is not limited to, requesting or seeking information about another inmate's criminal case, conviction, paperwork, charges, cooperation or 5K1 status, "checking paperwork," or gathering information for the purpose of intimidation, harassment, threats, coercion, retaliation, or any activity that could reasonably contribute to inmate conflict or violence. Use of the Service for prison politics is strictly prohibited. Any User found to be engaging in prison politics will have their account immediately and permanently terminated without refund. Such activity may also be referred to correctional authorities or law enforcement. All determinations regarding prison politics violations are made solely at Cyrellia's discretion and are final.
Monitoring and Privacy
All communications to and from the Service are subject to monitoring. Messages may be reviewed, logged, stored, and retained by correctional facility staff and by employees or contractors of Cyrellia. There is no expectation of privacy in any communication with the Service. Users must not transmit confidential, privileged, or sensitive information.
User Risk and Liability
The User assumes all risk associated with use of the Service. Cyrellia is not responsible for any disciplinary action, sanctions, loss of privileges, messaging restrictions, adverse institutional decisions, or other consequences resulting from the User's use of the Service. The Service does not provide legal advice and does not replace an attorney. Any information generated by the Service is used at the User's sole risk.
Message Processing and Delivery
Messages are processed in the order received. Message delivery and response timing are subject to delays imposed by correctional institutions, CorrLinks, or other third-party systems. Cyrellia does not control institutional screening, review timelines, or message queues and makes no guarantees regarding timing or delivery.
Service Limitations and Restrictions
Cyrellia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to throttle, limit, suspend, or restrict access to the Service if a User engages in abusive, excessive, or resource-draining usage that threatens the integrity, availability, or stability of the Service.
Pricing and Payments
Certain features of the Service are offered on a pay-per-use or advanced-feature basis, including but not limited to PACER access, People Locator services, Pen Pal services, document printing, mailing, and processing. Prices for pay-per-use and advanced features are subject to change at any time without prior notice. All subscription fees, usage fees, and payments are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for unused services, terminated accounts, service interruptions, or institutional restrictions.
Fraudulent payments, false disputes, or chargebacks will result in immediate and permanent account termination, forfeiture of any remaining balance or credits, and may be referred to law enforcement for investigation and prosecution.
People Locator Service
The People Locator service may not be used in any unlawful, abusive, or prohibited manner. Users may not use the People Locator service to locate or attempt to obtain contact information for individuals the User is prohibited from communicating with. This includes, but is not limited to, victims, witnesses, protected persons, individuals subject to no-contact or restraining orders, Bureau of Prisons staff or contractors, individuals who have previously blocked or declined communication from the User, or persons not personally known to the User. Any misuse of the People Locator service may result in immediate and permanent termination of the User's account and referral to appropriate authorities.
Service Limitations - Texting Disclaimer
InmateGPT is not, and does not offer, texting services to phone numbers. This Service does not provide functionality to send text messages to any phone number or e-mail address.
Account Termination
Cyrellia may suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any reason necessary to protect the Service, its users, or Cyrellia's legal or operational interests. Termination is permanent unless Cyrellia expressly states otherwise in writing.
Modifications to Terms
Cyrellia reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
